“My passion is teaching others how to live fuller, healthier, more meaningful lives by connecting them with the tools and resources that will help to make small but measurable changes in their daily life.”
- Rachel Kozy, MPH, MBA, Neuro Coach
I understand the challenges you are facing
As a teenager, and through most of my 20’s, I suffered from severe anxiety, insomnia, and depression. I’ve spent the past 15 years studying physiology, bioenergetics, and public health to gain a better understanding of how the human body functions and what causes pain and dysfunction. I’ve also used myself as human guinea pig to better understanding the mind-body connection and I want to share my tools and techniques with you.
I am a huge nerd
My educational background incorporates human physiology, bioenergetics, an MBA from UCLA, and a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins. I recently completed a MS in Neuroimaging at USC’s Keck School of Medicine and future plans include a PhD in Neuroscience & Public Health.
I have a wealth of professional experience that ranges from swim & strength coach to graduate investigator specializing in childhood obesity, type II diabetes, and Alzheimer’s research. I also served the US Navy as an aerospace physiologist and healthcare administrator. After my military service I specialized as a Change Management Consultant for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs and the National Institute of Health.
Professional background
I am currently the interim Executive Director for Veterans in Global Leadership and volunteer as a mentor for American Corporate Partners and Veterati, two organizations devoted to helping veterans make a successful transition to the civilian community. I also serve on the BOD for Lyrica Classic and am the founder of Empowered Women Brunch, which connects and inspires a community of exceptional women.
